Question 1

What is PromptPaddi Junior?

Accepted Answer

PromptPaddi Junior helps Nigerian children learn, from Primary 1 to SS 3, to the NERDC, WAEC and Cambridge curricula. There are two tutors. Paddi Tutor is built in: Paddi finds your child's level, teaches a short lesson, then practises with them, with hints first and never the answer first. Study Tutor turns the free AI you already have (Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini) into a tutor, with a ready-made prompt for every topic, study guides, practice tests and the AI Literacy Course. Exam Boost adds real practice papers for Common Entrance, BECE, WAEC, NECO and IGCSE, and every child gets a free progress dashboard. Schools can add Homework Tracker and Learning GPS.

Question 2

What is Paddi Tutor?

Accepted Answer

Paddi is the AI tutor built into PromptPaddi Junior. It finds your child's level in five quick questions, teaches a short lesson, then practises each step with them, from the basics to exam level, in any subject. Paddi gives one hint at a time and never the answer before your child has tried. Stars, streaks and "Level up!" keep children coming back, and every answer, with how sure they were, goes on their progress dashboard. Nothing to install, and no AI account needed.

Question 3

How much is Paddi Tutor?

Accepted Answer

₦15,000 a month for each child, or £15 / $19 abroad. Choose from 1 to 12 months and pay once: nothing renews by itself. With Exam Boost for the same child, the two together are ₦30,000 a month.

Question 4

What's the difference between Paddi Tutor and Study Tutor?

Accepted Answer

Paddi Tutor is built in: Paddi teaches, practises with your child and never gives the answer first. It suits younger children and anyone who gets stuck. ₦15,000 a month per child. Study Tutor turns the free AI you already have (Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini) into a tutor, with a ready-made prompt for every topic, study guides, practice tests and the AI Literacy Course. Its big advantage is one low, flat price: ₦60,000 a year (₦5,000 a month), or ₦120,000 a year for up to four children. It suits self-starters, older learners and larger families. Because the AI runs in your own app, younger children should use it with an adult nearby.

Question 5

What is Exam Boost?

Accepted Answer

Exam Boost gets your child ready for a big exam: Common Entrance, BECE, WAEC, NECO or IGCSE, with every subject of the exam included. Your child sits timed papers written like the real one; Paddi marks them, shows the working for every mistake with one more question like it, and keeps bringing back the topics they get wrong until they're secure. It opens on your child's Paddi Tutor page, with or without Paddi Tutor itself.

Question 6

How much is Exam Boost?

Accepted Answer

₦20,000 a month for any exam, or ₦180,000 for a whole year (£15 / $20 a month, or £135 / $180 a year abroad). Every subject of the exam is included. With Paddi Tutor for the same child, the two together are ₦30,000 a month: the checkout takes the difference off for you.

Question 7

What is the progress dashboard, and is it free?

Accepted Answer

Yes, it's free with everything. Each child's progress dashboard brings together Paddi Tutor, Study Tutor, Exam Boost, homework and school results: mastery, confidence and four-week trends for each subject, and what to fix first, in plain words. Parents, the child and (with Homework Tracker) their teacher see the same picture.

Question 8

Does anything renew automatically? How do I renew?

Accepted Answer

Nothing renews by itself, and we never charge your card again. Two weeks before something ends, we email you a link to renew it, and you can renew any time from your dashboard. Renewing early adds the new time from your current end date, so you lose nothing.

Question 9

Can I buy it as a gift, for example from abroad?

Accepted Answer

Yes. On the gift page, choose Paddi Tutor, Exam Boost, Learning GPS or Study Tutor for the children, pay in naira, pounds or dollars, and add a personal message. We email the family their links straight away, and the account belongs to their parent or guardian. Same prices as buying for your own child.

Question 10

What is Homework Tracker, and how much is it?

Accepted Answer

Homework Tracker lets a teacher set homework that is marked the moment each pupil answers, paired with how sure they were, so the teacher sees who is confident but wrong and fixes that first. Pupils get homework help too: on their own link, ready-made prompts for every topic in their scheme of work (teach me, help me practise, test me, quiz me), so they understand and practise before they answer. Homework marks go straight into the class mark book, with WAEC grades, results analysis, class position if the school wants it, and one-page progress reports. Form teachers take the daily register on a phone, and each teacher can have their own login. ₦2,000 per student a term, for at least 10 students, for a teacher, lesson tutor, parent or school.

Question 11

Can our school get Paddi Tutor or Exam Boost for our pupils?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Schools can have a negotiated price for Paddi Tutor or Exam Boost, for a class, a year group or the whole school. Email hello@promptpaddijunior.com with your school's name and how many pupils, and we'll agree a price with you.

Question 12

How does it actually work?

Accepted Answer

Pick your school stage (Lower Primary, Upper Primary, Junior Secondary, or Senior Secondary), then a subject. Under the search box you can narrow by year group (Primary 5, JSS 2, SS 1 and so on), by topic, or to the free prompts only. Three prompts in every subject are free; the rest unlock with an access code. Tap a prompt to copy it and launch a real AI tutoring session in Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini, or start it right from the study prompt card.

Question 13

Can I try it for free before paying?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every subject has three free prompts you can use straight away, no code needed. They are marked Free and are the first three on each subject page. Tap the Free button under the search box to see only those. You can also enter the demo code PPJ-DEMO-0001 on the unlock page. That previews Module One of the AI Literacy Course and lasts three days on that device. It does not open the rest of the prompt library. The three free prompts in a subject stay free either way. Full access to the whole library and course needs a paid individual or school subscription.

Question 14

How long does the free trial last, and what happens when it ends?

Accepted Answer

A demo code lasts three days on the device that redeems it. The code itself never expires and can be used on as many devices as you like. Each one gets its own three days. When it ends the page tells you so, and the three free prompts in every subject keep working. To open the rest of the library you need a paid, complimentary or school code.

Question 15

Where are the free prompts?

Accepted Answer

Three in every subject, marked with a green Free label. They are the first three prompts on each subject page, so you do not have to hunt for them, and there is a Free button under the search box that hides everything else. They are spread one to a year group, so whichever year you filter to, one of them is for you.

Question 16

Can I see only the prompts for my year group?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Under the search box on any subject page there are buttons for that stage's year groups (Primary 4, Primary 5 and Primary 6 in Upper Primary, JSS 1 to JSS 3, SS 1 to SS 3), plus All years. They work together with the topic buttons and the search box. One thing to know: a prompt can only be filed under a year if it says which year it is for. Where some of a subject's prompts do not, the page says so and tells you how many, so nothing looks missing when it is not.

Question 17

Do you cover Cambridge Checkpoint and IGCSE?

Accepted Answer

Yes, alongside the Nigerian curriculum rather than instead of it, so a school sitting both is covered in one place. Junior Secondary carries Cambridge Lower Secondary (Checkpoint) prompts for Mathematics and English across Years 7 to 9. Senior Secondary carries Cambridge IGCSE prompts for Mathematics, First Language English and Additional Mathematics across Years 10 and 11. They sit in the same subjects as the Nigerian ones and are labelled Checkpoint or IGCSE in the title.

Question 18

How do I find a specific topic or prompt?

Accepted Answer

Use the search bar (magnifying glass in the header, or the Search page) and type a subject, topic, or keyword, like "fractions", "photosynthesis", or "online safety". It searches both the prompt library and the AI Literacy Course lessons at once. Inside a subject there are quicker ways: the topic buttons under the search box run a one-tap search, the year-group buttons narrow to a single year, and they combine: JSS 2 plus "fractions" gives that year's fractions prompts.

Question 19

What subjects and year groups do you cover?

Accepted Answer

Thirty-seven subjects across four school stages — 57 subject-and-year-group combinations in all, since Mathematics and several others run at more than one stage — with more than 70,000 prompts between them. Lower Primary (Primary 1–3) and Upper Primary (Primary 4–6) follow the Nigerian NERDC curriculum: Mathematics, English Studies, Basic Science, ICT/Basic Digital Literacy, Nigerian History, Pre-Vocational Studies, Social and Citizenship Studies, National Values, Cultural and Creative Art, and Physical and Health Education. Junior Secondary (JSS1–3) follows NERDC and BECE alongside Cambridge Lower Secondary (Checkpoint): English Studies, Mathematics, Basic Science & Technology, Business Studies, Agricultural Science, Home Economics, ICT/Digital Technologies, Social and Citizenship Studies, Cultural and Creative Art, Music, and Physical and Health Education. Senior Secondary (SS1–3) follows NERDC with WAEC and NECO, alongside Cambridge IGCSE: Mathematics, Further Mathematics, English Studies, Literature-in-English, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Geography, History, ICT, Citizenship and Heritage Studies, Civic Education, Government, Economics, Commerce, Business Studies, Financial Accounting, Marketing, Agricultural Science, Food and Nutrition, Home Management, Health Education, Physical and Health Education, Music, Visual Art, and Technical Drawing.

Question 20

Is the content aligned to WAEC and the Nigerian curriculum?

Accepted Answer

Yes, and to several boards at once, because most Nigerian schools sit more than one. Primary follows the Nigerian NERDC curriculum. Junior Secondary follows NERDC and BECE, with Cambridge Lower Secondary (Checkpoint) prompts alongside them. Senior Secondary follows NERDC with WAEC and NECO, with Cambridge IGCSE prompts alongside, including IGCSE First Language English, IGCSE Mathematics for Year 10, and IGCSE Additional Mathematics for Years 10 and 11. Prompts are written around real topics from those schemes of work, not generic questions, and each one names the year it is for.

Question 21

What is the AI Literacy Course?

Accepted Answer

A short, guided course teaching learners how to use AI safely before they use it for study: what AI actually is, how it can be wrong, how to stay safe, and how to use it honestly for schoolwork. There are two tracks: "AI and Me" for ages 5–11, and "AI for Secondary School" for ages 11–17, each with around 10 lessons, understanding checks, and hands-on example prompts.

Question 22

Do I need to pay for the AI Literacy Course separately?

Accepted Answer

No. It's included with any PromptPaddi Junior access code, the same as the subject prompt library. A free trial code unlocks just the first lesson of each track as a preview; a full individual or school subscription unlocks every lesson.

Question 23

How much is Study Tutor?

Accepted Answer

Study Tutor is ₦60,000 a year (₦5,000 a month), or ₦35,000 for 6 months, for one child. The family plan is ₦120,000 a year for up to four children. That opens the whole prompt library in every subject, the study guides, practice tests and the AI Literacy Course, to use with your own free Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini. Pay once, by card, bank app or USSD with Paystack, or by bank transfer: nothing renews by itself.

Question 24

Is there a discount for more than one child?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Study Tutor has a family plan: ₦120,000 a year for up to four children, at every school stage (₦2,500 per child a month). Learning GPS at home is ₦10,000 a year for up to four children. Paddi Tutor and Exam Boost are priced per child, and you can buy for all your children in one checkout.

Question 25

What is an access code and how do I use it?

Accepted Answer

An access code is what unlocks the full study tool on a device, either from a purchase or from your school. Go to the Unlock page, type in your code, and submit. No account, email, or password is needed for an individual code; try the demo code PPJ-DEMO-0001 to see how it works. One code works on two devices per seat it was bought with, so an individual code opens a phone and a laptop, and a four-learner family code opens eight devices. Entering it again on a device that already has it costs nothing, even if you have cleared your cookies. If you have run out because a device was lost, email hello@promptpaddijunior.com and we will free the space up.

Question 26

I lost my access code, or want to cancel. What now?

Accepted Answer

Go to Manage your plan and enter the email and payment reference from your Paystack receipt. That shows your access code again. There's nothing to cancel: each payment covers the time you chose, nothing renews by itself, and we never charge your card again.

Question 27

Is there a limit on how much AI help I can get?

Accepted Answer

With Study Tutor there's no limit: you copy our prompt into your own free Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini, so it's as unlimited as those tools are. Paddi Tutor is for one child, for the months you chose, in every subject.

Question 28

How does it work for schools?

Accepted Answer

Schools have two tools, bought a term at a time. Homework Tracker: set homework that is marked the moment each pupil answers, see who was sure but wrong, and keep a mark book, results and progress reports. Learning GPS: a two-minute Daily Pulse for every pupil and a Monday list for each form teacher of who needs them first. Every pupil gets a private link and a QR slip, with no app to install, and what they do feeds each child's free progress dashboard.

Question 29

How do I set up a school account?

Accepted Answer

You can buy straight away, with no account needed first: choose Homework Tracker, Learning GPS or both on the For schools page and pay by Paystack or bank transfer. We make your school account when you pay. Already set up? Sign in on the school login page.

Question 30

What learner information does a school need to provide?

Accepted Answer

Just a first name and a class label that a school administrator chooses to add. We don't require or store a learner's surname, date of birth, or any other identifying detail. If the school adds Learning GPS, it also holds each pupil's Learning GPS answers (and, with monthly progress, their grades, attendance and check-ins), seen only by their form teacher. The school is responsible for telling parents and having their consent.

Question 31

Is there a user guide?

Accepted Answer

Yes: the PromptPaddi Junior User Guide is a free PDF. It covers getting started, studying with a prompt, practice tests and the 36-week WAEC study guides, the AI Literacy Course, schools and Learning GPS, every price, and staying safe. There are also a Teacher Guide and a Parent Guide with twelve practical ideas each.

Question 32

What is Learning GPS?

Accepted Answer

My Learning GPS, by Dr Timi Hyacinth, helps pupils notice how they learn. Each pupil has a private link (no password): a two-minute Daily Pulse, a Friday Reflection, and a GPS Check for each topic or test. Schools add it as Learning GPS: each form teacher gets a Monday list of the pupils who need them, and the school's safeguarding contact is emailed at once if a pupil asks to talk to someone. Families can use it at home too.

Question 33

How much is Learning GPS for a school?

Accepted Answer

A term at a time, by the number of pupils on your roster: one class of up to 40 pupils ₦13,500, up to 150 pupils ₦40,000, 151 to 400 ₦80,000, 401 to 800 ₦107,000. More than 800 pupils or a group of schools: ask us for a quote. Buy it on its own or in the same order as Homework Tracker, by Paystack or bank transfer, or by card with Stripe if your school is in the UK or the US.

Question 34

What is the monthly progress dashboard?

Accepted Answer

Part of Learning GPS, from Dr Timi Hyacinth's Academic Progress Monitoring Toolkit. Form teachers record each pupil's month (grades against target, attendance, behaviour incidents, effort) and pupils do a monthly check-in (self-regulation, wellbeing, a goal). Six trigger rules then flag who needs a Parent-Student-Teacher meeting, to be held within 5 school days: two subjects declining two months running, attendance below 90%, three or more behaviour incidents, a two-grade gap in English or Maths, low self-regulation, or a wellbeing score of 1, which goes to the safeguarding contact straight away. The school switches it on from its dashboard.

Question 35

Can my family use Learning GPS at home?

Accepted Answer

Yes: ₦10,000 a year for up to 4 children, and ₦2,500 a year for each child after that. You can add it when you buy anything else, or on its own. A child aged 10 or over gets their own private link; with a younger child you have the Weekly Learning Chat together, about five minutes once a week. You also get a monthly progress page for each child. Families who already subscribe to PromptPaddi Junior can start a free first term from the dashboard.

Question 36

Who sees my child's Learning GPS answers?

Accepted Answer

At school, only the class's form teacher sees what pupils write, and school leaders see counts, not answers. If a pupil asks to talk to someone, or rates their week or a wellbeing area 1, the form teacher and the school's safeguarding contact are emailed straight away. At home, only the parent sees their child's answers. Learning GPS supports, and never replaces, a school's safeguarding procedures.

Question 37

A pupil has lost their Learning GPS link. What now?

Accepted Answer

The form teacher can print the class's link slips (with QR codes) again from their class page, or give the pupil a new link: the old one then stops working. At home, the parent opens the child's card on the parent dashboard to copy the link, show the QR code, or make a new link.

Question 38

Are there other ASEF tools for my school?

Accepted Answer

Yes, on our sister site promptpaddi.com/readiness, by Dr Timi Hyacinth: free Readiness Checks (School Excellence, E-Governance, Sustainability, Accreditation, AI Readiness, Leadership, Master Teacher), plus paid school tools: Succession Planning, Teacher Practice Checklists, Curriculum Monitoring, and the SEBD Identification & Intervention Tool for school refusal and distressed behaviour.

Question 39

Is my child's data safe? What do you collect?

Accepted Answer

We collect only what we need to run the service: your email, your children's first names and school stage, and, for schools, a learner's first name and class. Paddi Tutor keeps your child's answers and how sure they were, so the progress dashboard can show them; removing a child deletes them. We never sell personal data, never run behavioural ads or third-party trackers, and don't collect more than we need from a child. Study Tutor conversations happen in your own AI app, so we never see them.

Question 40

Does the AI know it is talking to a child?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every prompt you copy carries a short set of instructions for the AI, under a heading called Context, written for the school stage the prompt belongs to — Lower Primary, Upper Primary, Junior Secondary or Senior Secondary. It tells the AI the learner's stage and age, to apply UNESCO, DfE and NDPA safeguards for AI and data protection, and how to pitch its language. It also sets limits: never write the homework, only work through it a step at a time and respond to the learner's own attempt; never ask for personal details or photos; never pose as a real person, doctor or counsellor; keep away from romance, violence, drugs, self-harm and adult topics; and admit it can be wrong. You will not see it on the prompt card — it is added as you copy, so it lands in the AI along with the prompt. Schools can turn it off for their whole account from the admin settings if they would rather send the prompt alone.

Question 41

Which AI does PromptPaddi Junior use, and what does it see?

Accepted Answer

Paddi Tutor uses Claude, an AI model made by Anthropic. When your child asks Paddi for help, the school stage, the subject and topic, the question and what your child types are sent to Anthropic to write the reply. Your child's name and your contact details are not sent. Study Tutor is different: you copy our prompt into the AI app you already use (Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini), and that provider's own privacy policy applies to the conversation. It never passes through us.

Question 42

Can the AI get things wrong?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Like any AI system, Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini can sound confident while being inaccurate or outdated. PromptPaddi Junior is a study aid, not a source of truth on its own. The AI Literacy Course teaches learners how to spot this, and important answers (especially for exams and coursework) should always be checked with a teacher, textbook, or trusted adult.

Question 43

Do I need my child's school's permission, or a parent's?

Accepted Answer

PromptPaddi Junior is meant to be used under a school's subscription, or by a family with a parent or guardian's knowledge and supervision. Schools are responsible for having appropriate consent in place under their own safeguarding policy before adding a learner to the roster. Individuals under 18 should only use it with a parent or guardian's permission and supervision.

Question 44

Something in an AI conversation felt wrong. What do I do?

Accepted Answer

Email hello@promptpaddijunior.com straight away. Safeguarding and data concerns are treated as a priority and get a fast response. The AI Literacy Course also teaches learners directly what to do if something in a conversation feels wrong, including involving a trusted adult.

Question 45

How do I ask for my data to be deleted?

Accepted Answer

Email hello@promptpaddijunior.com. You (or a school acting on behalf of its learners) can ask us to access, correct, or delete personal data at any time under Nigeria's Data Protection Act (NDPA 2023).

Question 46

Can we embed PromptPaddi Junior on our own school website?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A school subscription includes a snippet you can copy into your own school or charity website, so the prompt library shows up there directly for your learners. This is available from your school dashboard once your account is set up.

Question 47

Do you have a guide for teachers or parents?

Accepted Answer

Yes, two free guides to download as PDFs: a Teacher Guide with twelve practical ways to use PromptPaddi Junior around your teaching (pre-teach primers, differentiation, WAEC revision, and more), and a Parent Guide with twelve ways to use it safely at home. No access code needed to download either. There is also the PromptPaddi Junior User Guide (PDF): how everything works, step by step, with every price.

Question 48

How do I contact PromptPaddi Junior?

Accepted Answer

Email hello@promptpaddijunior.com any time, for general questions, school subscriptions, or safeguarding and data concerns (which we treat as a priority).

Question 49

How do I pay? Is there online checkout?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Choose what you want for each child and pay once: by card, bank app or USSD with Paystack, or by bank transfer (we switch it on when the money arrives). No account is needed first: we make one for you when you pay. Families in the UK and the US can pay in pounds or dollars by card. Nothing renews by itself.

Question 50

Can I pay in pounds or dollars from the UK or the US?

Accepted Answer

Yes, as it opens for each country. Families and schools in the UK and the US see prices in pounds (£) or dollars ($) and pay by card through Stripe; payments in pounds and dollars are taken by TLC Consortium Ltd, Dr Timi Hyacinth's UK company. Each payment covers the period shown and does not renew automatically. You can change currency at the foot of any page. The Families abroad page shows which stage matches your child's UK school year or US grade. If you only see naira prices, payment in your currency is not open yet: email hello@promptpaddijunior.com.

Question 51

Which stage should my child choose if we live in the UK or the US?

Accepted Answer

By age and school year: Lower Primary is UK Years 2 to 4 or US Grades 1 to 3; Upper Primary is UK Years 5 to 7 or US Grades 4 to 6; Junior Secondary is UK Years 8 to 10 or US Grades 7 to 9; Senior Secondary is UK Years 11 to 13 or US Grades 10 to 12. If your child is between two stages, choose the one that matches the work they do now.

Question 52

How do I get My Learning GPS for my family?

Accepted Answer

Choose Learning GPS for your family at the checkout (on its own or with anything else), name your children and pay: we make your parent account when you pay. Then on your parent dashboard each child gets their own private link, or with a younger child you do the Weekly Learning Chat together. Families who already have PromptPaddi Junior can start a free first term from the dashboard.

Question 53

Where is the Daily Pulse on my child's page?

Accepted Answer

On your child's My Learning GPS page, the button at the top ("Do today's Daily Pulse") jumps straight to it. "My week" is only a summary that fills in after each Pulse. The Daily Pulse is for school days: at the weekend the page points to the Friday Reflection instead, which is open from Thursday to Sunday.

Question 54

What emails does Learning GPS send?

Accepted Answer

For schools: each form teacher is emailed their Monday list; leaders are told when monthly progress opens; overdue meetings go to the form teacher and the safeguarding contact; and the school is reminded 30 and 7 days before its licence ends. For families: a friendly Friday reminder (you can switch it off on your parent dashboard) and reminders before your year ends. Urgent messages are always sent.
