Maths Clinic · Primary 1 to SS 3

Maths gaps don't close themselves. Find them. Fix them.

A student who is lost in algebra is often stuck much further back, in directed numbers or fractions. Maths Clinic finds the root gap, names the misunderstanding behind each wrong answer, teaches the skill underneath, and practises it until it's mastered. And it makes maths something they look forward to.

Why more of the same doesn't work

A wrong answer is a clue. Most practice throws it away.

When a child writes ½ + ⅓ = 2/5, the problem isn't adding fractions. They don't yet see why fractions need the same bottom number. More worksheets on adding fractions won't fix that; going back to equivalent fractions will. Maths Clinic reads the clue in every wrong answer and goes to the root.

How it works

Diagnose. Teach. Correct. Close the gap.

  1. 1DiagnoseA short check (15 questions at most) starts at the child's class and digs down under every wrong answer until it reaches firm ground: the root gap.
  2. 2TeachA one-minute lesson for each skill: the idea, a worked example and the mistake to watch for. Short enough for a tired evening.
  3. 3CorrectQuestions with new numbers every time, marked at once. A wrong answer is matched to the misunderstanding it shows and explained in plain words, with the working.
  4. 4Close the gap4 right-and-sure answers in a row master a skill. It comes back after 3, 7, 21 and 60 days to make sure it sticks, and the next skill opens.

Where does your child's maths break down?

Let them answer on their own, and say honestly whether they were sure. You'll see what's secure, what's shaky, and the gap to fix first.

Which class is the child in?

About 15 questions or fewer, starting at that class and digging down wherever something is shaky. Let the child answer on their own, and be honest about "sure" or "not sure".

Primary 1 to SS 3. Whatever the class, the check digs down to primary number skills if that is where the gap starts.

Primary 1 to SS 3

99 skills, from counting to calculus.

Each skill knows the skills it rests on, so a gap is traced to its root, even when an SS student's trouble with quadratics starts in Primary 5. Three stages, Primary, JSS for the BECE, and SS for WAEC, NECO and JAMB, and each stage opens every stage below it.

Building a love of maths

Confidence comes from getting it right.

Children learn to like maths when they feel themselves getting better. Maths Clinic makes that visible: stars for every right answer, a streak of days, a skill map that fills up, and a 60-second sprint to beat yesterday's best. Maths in real life too: change from ₦500, the price of rice going up by 10%, profit on a trader's goods, interest on savings.

Why parents trust it

No AI guessing. No stranger. You see everything.

No AI, so no wrong arithmetic

Every question, answer and worked step is made by code and checked, so it is always right. That also keeps the price low.

Built on how children learn maths

Prerequisites first, honest sure-or-not answers (Dr Timi Hyacinth's four states), mastery before moving on, and spaced review so it sticks.

You see the progress

Skills mastered, the gaps being fixed and what's next, on your dashboard. Your child's link works on two devices and asks for no personal details.

Questions

Before you buy.

Which children is it for?

Any child from Primary 1 to SS 3. Many JSS and SS students struggle because of skills from primary school, so every stage opens the stages below it too. The free gap check shows whether it will help.

What does it cost?

For one child, a term of 120 days: Primary 1 to 6 ₦6,000, JSS 1 to 3 (BECE) ₦8,000, SS 1 to 3 (WAEC, NECO, JAMB) ₦12,000. Each stage includes every stage below it. You can buy 1 to 3 terms. Nothing renews by itself.

Which stage should I choose?

Your child's current stage: Primary for Primary 1 to 6, JSS for JSS 1 to 3, SS for SS 1 to 3. The lower stages come with it, so the clinic can go back as far as the gap does.

Does it use AI?

No. Every question is made fresh by code, with its answer, the common wrong answers and the working, so the maths is always right and the price stays low. A child who also has the PromptPaddi Tutor can ask Paddi about anything else.

How does my child get in after I pay?

At once: the thank-you page has an "Open Maths Clinic" button on your child's own private link, which we also email to you. It works on two devices, such as a phone and a laptop, and can be added to the home screen like an app.

Does it cover WAEC, NECO, BECE and JAMB?

It covers the skills those exams test, from algebra and geometry to quadratics, sequences, matrices and calculus, and fixes the gaps under them. For timed past-paper practice, add Exam Boost.

How much time does it take?

Ten to fifteen minutes a day is plenty: a lesson, a few questions, and a sprint. Short and often beats long and rare.

Can I see how they're doing?

Yes. Your dashboard shows the skills mastered, the gaps being fixed and what's next, with their stars and streak.

We're a school. Can our pupils use it?

Yes, at 20% off: Primary 1 to 6 ₦4,800, JSS 1 to 3 (BECE) ₦6,400, SS 1 to 3 (WAEC, NECO, JAMB) ₦9,600 a pupil, a term. Email hello@promptpaddijunior.com and we'll set it up.

Can I get a refund?

Payments are non-refundable (see our terms), which is why the gap check is free to try first, with no account and no card.
