How Exam Boost works
- 1Choose a subject. You choose the subjects that worry you, for example WAEC Chemistry or BECE Mathematics, and your child practises in those. Add another subject any time.
- 2Timed drills, like the real paper. Paddi sets a paper of ten questions written like the real exam, against the clock, with the time the exam gives. Your child works them out in their exercise book, answers them all, and hands the paper in. No hints until it is marked, as in the exam.
- 3Every mistake spotted and put right. Once the paper is marked, Paddi takes each wrong answer and shows where it went wrong and the working, step by step, then gives a question like it to check it has stuck. Sure but wrong? That's the most useful mistake to fix, and Paddi says so.
- 4Any exam, by name. Preparing for something else, such as the 11+, SATs, GCSE, the SAT or a school's own entrance exam? Choose “Another exam” and type its name. Paddi writes each drill the way that exam asks its questions, and times it the way the real exam does.
- 5More practice where it's needed. Paddi keeps track of the topics your child gets wrong and brings them back, until they are secure. You see their exam readiness, topic by topic, on their progress dashboard.
Every question is written fresh by Paddi in the style of each exam. We never copy past papers. The exception is BECE Basic Science, which has thirty fixed practice papers (ten each for JSS 1, JSS 2 and JSS 3) we wrote and reviewed ourselves (see Science Lab below). Paddi is an AI and can make mistakes: use it with an adult nearby, and check important answers with a teacher.

Science Lab: experiments and practice papers, without a laboratory
Many schools have no working laboratory, so children meet practical science only on paper. Science Lab lets your child do the experiments on screen, then answer the kind of questions that follow a practical. It comes at no extra cost with BECE Basic Science (the JSS practicals and papers), and with WAEC/NECO Biology, Chemistry, Physics or Agricultural Science (that subject's SS practicals). Without Exam Boost, a Science Lab pass is ₦6,000 a term for Primary, ₦8,000 for JSS or ₦12,000 for SS.
- Thirty practice papers. Ten each for JSS 1, JSS 2 and JSS 3, ten questions each, timed, marked at once, with a written explanation of every mistake.
- Over a hundred virtual practicals, Primary 1 to SS 3. From growing beans and building circuits to food tests, titration, qualitative analysis, the pendulum and the metre bridge. Your child records what they see, then answers questions in the style of the WAEC Alternative to Practical paper.
- Opens from your child's own link, the same one they use for Exam Boost. The papers and practicals are fixed and reviewed, so they open even when Paddi is busy.
This is practice for the skills those questions test. It is not the exam itself, so please check what your child's school expects.
